To show that I am able to show a wide range of understandings of different technologies, therefore I have added a html link that will direct you straight to Elisha's blog. As the two of us worked together for the majority of the two year course on all the productions produced, I thought it would be a useful link to make to my blog.

As we have filmed all of our Evaluation Questions, we decided to create a little video of the outtakes from filming, enjoy.
 

Showcase Evening

I feel that the evening went really well, the comments were all of a positive nature, which really boosts my overall confidence in our music video. We put together a short video of the evening, with our little speech and feedback from those who attended the evening.
 

Show case evening

On the 25th of April we will be hosting a show case evening of all the AS and A2 productions of 2013. The evening will include each group doing a short speech, introducing their video, then the video will be shown. The following is the speech I have written for myself and Elisha, I wanted to include what we wanted to convey in the music video, as well as the editing techniques we used.

BFI Trip

We went on a trip specialised on our media course, run by the chief examiner. We gathered quite a lot of footage whilst we were out there and I'v edited together all the clips we gained, and created a little narrative of the day.

 

Update

We still haven't started filming our music video yet, but i think it would be best if we waited until all our story boarding is completed until we go out and film. That way we are unlikely to waste any time when we go out filming and our music video will also be more structured as a result of the detailed storyboarding. However in a couple of lessons time we will be having a vitistor in the lesson to help us work out the new Final Cut Pro software. Which i am pretty sure is what we hope to be using to edit our music video, mainly due to the more possibilities that it provides us with whilst editing. Therefore we do need to get a bit of footage so that when she does come into the lesson we have something to work with.

British Films

British Film:
A British film, in my opinion, is a film with a classic British cast, a British director and usually a powerful British topic. A great example of a classic British film is Shane Meadow's film "This is England" and also Tom Hooper's "The Kings's Speech". Both have a large British cast and share the topic of British culture and history.
I don't really have a favourite British film, but there are several that i love which are just the classics like "The Full Monty" and "Brassed Of". I guess the reason that i love these films are due to their raw British content, of true events that have happened in our British History.
I wouldn't say that i specifically seek out any British film but if i have heard about a specific film or one has been recommend to me then i will most probably aim to watch it, other than that i just watch films that take my fancy.
